Born 1948 in Scotland, graduated 1969 from U.Glasgow in Physics. His career with Schlumberger spanned 31 years, starting as logging engineer in Middle East, later positions in integrated studies; training, coaching & mentoring; general management; sales and marketing; contact negociation; and executive-level relationship management. Advanced qualifications include professional diplomas in Petroleum Economics and Risk Evaluation. Technical roles included advanced log analysis; integrated studies; geoscience IT systems, petroleum engineering, wellbore geophysics, well completion, data mining/analysis. He has published a range of technical papers in several forums. Positions included late-career 3 years returning to basic physics & geoscience research in Schlumberger-Doll Research in Conecticut ; 3 years general management of Schlumberger GeoQuest integrated IT and interpretation for Latin America; 3 years world-wide product management of Schlumberger's upstream interpretation business. Born in 1948, graduated in geology from Karl Rupecht University, Heidelberg Germany. International experience in exploration as field geophysicist with major oil and services companies (Geosource, Prakla-Seismos, Total, Elf, Conoco, Taxas Crude). He is working currently as a consultant in oil and gas field evaluation, seismic acquisition and interpretation. His world wide experience includes also, supervision, logistics, project impact studies, coordination and management. His working languages are : French, English, German and Arabic.


EXPERT IN GEOLOGY AND PROSPECT EVALUATION

Born in 1964, graduated from Universidad National de Colombia (88), Institut Français du Pétrole School (91) and from Ecole Supérieure du Commerce de Paris-EAP (MBA, 2004), he worked for 12 years in Oil and Gas Exploration with TOTAL sa where he held technical positions mainly as new ventures petroleum geologist. In this company he worked one year as economist. Recently he founded the ESSENCE DE PARIS SASU Company and is applying for a licence of exploration. His international experience is mainly in Angola, Vietnam, and Yemen. As geologist he participated in basin projects : Iran, Iraq, Emirates, Colombian foothills, Libya, Mexico and Algeria. As economist he participated in some projects in countries such as Angola, Cameroon, Gabon and Equatorial Guinea. He has a broad experience evaluating prospects and doing risk analysis. He has developed financial and accounting knowledge and has a special interest in jobs such as, adviser in M&A, financing deals, and prospect finder.


RESERVE / PROSPECT APPRAISAL

Born in 1956, graduated from Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées (1979) and Newcastle University (UK), he worked for 5 years in reservoir engineering and reserve evaluation at FRANLAB (now BEICIP-FRANLAB) in Sophia Antipolis (France) and Houston (Texas). He founded EOSYS in 1993, a geoscience and seismic survey company based in Paris, and has managed it since then. To reservoir engineering and reservoir modeling, he has added specializations in 3D geological modelling, seismic acquisition, processing and interpretation, satellite and aerial image processing and interpretation. He has worked for most of the major industrial French Corporations as well as a number of IOC and NOC in Europe, Africa, the Middle East and America. His current focus is in prospect and reserve appraisals as well as in assisting or participating with private investors to secure new exploration and production permits.


MICROPALEONTOLOGIST / ENVIRONMENTALIST

Born in 1951, PhD from Marseilles University (78) studying Ivory Coast Neogene Foraminifera and DESS from Paris University (94) in Environmental engineering. 20 years of Hydrocarbon experience in Africa, Europe and South America for Ivory Coast Hydrocarbon Office, TOTAL, CORPOVEN, LAGOVEN and PDVSA, excellent knowledge of well site geology, regional stratigraphic studies and sequence stratigraphy with disciplinary groups. Responsible for training of junior micropaleontologists in Venezuela. Highly motivated to continue career as an Oil and Gas Exploration Consultant.


GEOLOGY AND GEOPHYSICS EXPERT

Born in 1949. Graduated from Ecole des Mines (Nancy 69) and University of Houston (MBA,1990). He worked 26 years for TOTAL exploration from Junior Reservoir geologist to corporate Head of Reservoir geophysical and geological studies. Broad experience in reservoir studies, asset evaluation and quantitative geological earth models integrating static and dynamic components. Experience of leading multidisciplinary teams and of training courses for Reservoir Geologists. 13 years of overseas assignments : Abu Dhabi, Indonesia, USA, Norway. Working languages : fluent english and french.


EXPLORATION EXPERT

Born in 1941. Graduated from Ecole des Mines (Nancy 63). He worked in Paris in mathematical applications to geology, in Idonesia as Chief Geologist, in Argentina and Egypt as Exploration Manager, in Paris as Division manager for Exploration New Ventures and International Exploration Coordination, and in Houston as President and CEO of the TOTAL Exploration and Production Branch. In 1994, he became Vice-President of Exploration and Reservoir for the TOTAL Group in Paris.


EXPERT IN GEOLOGY - LOG ANALYST SPECIALIST

Born in 1936, 38 years world-wide experience in the Oil Industry. He worked for SAMEGA, GEOSERVICES and BECIP between 1967 to 2002. He assumed the position of well site geologist reponsible for managing teams and as a petroleum engineer managed rigs and teams for SHELL. He also worked as a specialist of clastic petrography and as a petrophysicist. Later on, he was put in charge of the geochemical laboratory of BECIP. He worked as a Log Analyst. He brought his expertise to PERTAMINA (Indonesia, 4,5 years) as a production and development geologist and reservoir geological modelist. He worked for ENAP (Chile 4,5 years) as a team manager for enhanced recovery. He assumed the role of operations coordinator as a deputy project manager of projects in Nigeria and & Equatorian Guinea (3,5 years). He was during 4 years president of SAID, the french chapter of SPWLA and received in 1999 a SPWLA Award. Wilst working with BECIP he also gave lectures on well logging at the Bordeaux University. Prior to working as a Geologist he worked for 12 Years as a school teacher in Martinique and then in Paris. He earned his Engineering degree from ENSPM and is a graduate from IGAL, has a Master in Geology from Bordeaux University. He had the chance to be initiated to the Dunham carbonates classification by Bob DUNHAM himself on well Mimizan 1 (association RAP-SHELL). He has developed a keen interest in Russian logs and developed an expertise on the subject. Always very young of mind and constitution, he is fully disposed to keep on this vigorous career, accepting expatriation in every part of the World. He is fluent in French, english and Spanish.


GEOPHYSICS EXPERT

Born in 1935, graduated from ENSG (Nancy School of Geology-58). He worked from 1958 to 1995 with Compagnie Générale de Géophysique (CGG), he acquired a broad experience in seismic réflection and potential field methods applied to exploration for Oil and Gas as well as Mining, ground water and civil engineering particularly in Europe, the US ; Canada, Australia, and W. Africa. He managed crews, regional operations and also R&D, Technical Assistance and QC teams. Now a Consultant, he is involved in the supervision of geophysical operations, the development of seismic data processing methods and training courses. Recently he designed 2 and 3D surveys in difficult terrain, evaluated onshore and offshore data sets in five countries of West Africa.


GEOPHYSICS AND TECHNICAL INFORMATION SYSTEMS EXPERT

Born in 1934, graduated from Ecole Supérieure d'Electricité (56) and from ENSPM (57), he worked for 38 years in Oil and Gas Exploration with Compagnie Générale de Géophysique (CGG) where he held managerial positions. 20 years of experience in Technical Information Systems (Seismic processing, Exploration and Production, Data Bank). He founded the Petrosystem Company and was its president for 6 years. Recently he designed the Technical Informatioon System for NHC in Cameroon. His International experience is mainly in Africa, Middle East, Eastern Europe and the CIS countries. He has a broad experience dealing with National Companies and consortium projects.


DRILLING OPERATIONS AND COMPLETION SPECIALIST

Born in 1955, graduated from Ecole Catholique des Arts et Métiers de Lyon (ECAM) in 1981, he has been working since then in Exploration / Production drilling operations and in completion. With Schlumberger Dowell, he had specialized in Cementing and Stimulations operations, providing services all over the world for various clients includung, SHELL, AGIP, TOTAL, ELF, OXY, AMERADA HES, SONATRACH... After working as a Consultant for OURHOUD Algeria in Drilling then in Production operations for two years, he is presently working as a Consultant for SONATRACH, Algeria, in the drilling operations.

Born in 1954, graduated from Institut Universitaire de Technologie (Génie Mécanique) Besançon (75), he has 24 years of experience in field drilling operations as Drilling Supervisor, Senior Drilling Supervisor and Drilling Superintendent. First working 15 years with TOTAL CFP, then as Consultant with various Companies (TOTAL, BHP, ELF, WASCANIA, ALEPCO, FINA, QATARGAS, PETRONAS). He has a broad experience in exploration and development wells on onshore and offshore rigs (Jack-up, swamp-barge, fixed platforms, semi-submersible) on vertical, deviated and horizontal wells. Also active in personel training for SONATRACH and Project Manager for HALLIBURTON Integrated Service in Algeria.


SENIOR DRILLING ENGINEER

Born in 1955, graduated from ENS Arts et Métiers (79), he worked more than 15 years in Exploration / Drilling, first with GEOSERVICES, then as an independent consultant. He worked as a joint venture manager on an offshore development of 20 deviated wells with Teleco / Smith for AGIP in Libya. He worked as a Senior Drilling Engineer and Superviser for ANDRA (Radioactive Waste Management Agency) with continuous coring operations. He worked as a Senior Drilling Engineer in India (4 wells exploration programme) on a drillship for Oil India. He worked as a Senior Drilling Supervisor in Algeria for Louisiana Land & Exploration (exploration and completion wells). He worked for TOTAL Venezuela, then Russia in exploration and workover as a drilling Supervisor. He now works for SOFREGAZ on an Iranian gas storage program (NIOC) as Drilling Engineer and Supervisor.


PRODUCTION EXPERT

Born in 1953, graduated engineer from Ecole Polytechnique Paris (73) and ENSPM (77). He has 20 years of experience as a production engineer and operations manager of oil producing companies. He has a wide experience of artificial lift, water injection and production operations. He developed a good experience of money-making with small to medium size oilfields (1 000 to 10 000 barrels a day), staff management including recruitment, training and termination, health safety and environment. He also has a good knowledge of oil contracts (production sharing, joint operating agreements) and economics (assets evaluation, purchase and sales).


DRILLING MANAGEMENT EXPERT

Born in 1950, graduated engineer from IPSA Paris (73), he followed a drilling engineer session at the ENSPM (82), he specialised in international financing MCE Bruxelles (87) and in Quality systems CPA Paris (91). He worked for 11 years (82-93) with FORASOL successively as administrative superviser, area manager, marketing engineer and Quality manager. Earlier he worked for SCHLUMBERGER as a logging engineer and district manager in various countries of Africa and Middle East. He has a substantial experience in auditing development projects both in their technical and financial aspects.


PRODUCTION ENGINEER

Born in 1948. Graduated from Ecole des Mines de Paris (1972) and from ENSPM (1974). Worked as project supervisor, reservoir engineer, production engineer. Broad experience in field development and production, encompassing various positions as commercial manager, production manager, operations managerand general manager in Norway and West-Africa. Since 1996, independent consultant in reservoir engineering, production engineering and production sharing agreements.


WELL SERVICES AND PRODUCTION FACILITIES EXPERT

Born in 1946, he has a wide experience in oil industry services, operations & maintenance, project coordination and supervision, training management. Most of his career was spent overseas in Middle East, Africa and South America he has worked 11 years with FLOPETROL SCHLUMBERGER. He then joined GEOSERVICES for 12 years, and SCHLUMBERGER WL&T in 1995, acquiring a multidisciplinary experience in production services (Early Production Facilities), projects engineering, construction and training. Freelance consultant since 2001, highly motivated to continue his career accepting expatriation. Languages are english, spanish, french.


LOGISTICS & MATERIAL COORDINATOR

Born in 1946, he has 25 years of experience in Logistics for the Oil Industry, mainly working for operators (SHELL, and TOTAL) as staff, and then as a consultant from 1988 (TOTAL, BHP, HAMILTON, SINCOR) in the Middle East, South East Asia, Western and Northen Africa and Latin America. He has a wide experience of material procurement, stock management using various computerised systems, international and local transports and customs clearance, management of bases and general administration, for offshore and land drilling operations and production facilities.


LOGING INTERPRETATION AND COMPUTER SERVICE EXPERT

Born in 1941, graduated engineer from Ecole Centrale de Nantes (65) he has additional diplomas in physics and business management. He worked 18 years with Schlumberger, where he held technical commercial and managerial positions. Managed a data processing center for log interpretation and created, then managed a school for log analysts. Has published several interpretation papers. His international experience is mainly in North and West Africa, Europe, and Asia. Has held management and consulting positions in companies in USA and France. Presently Consultant in computer and oil services.


WELL SERVICING AND WELL TECHNOLOGY EXPERT

Born in 1941, graduated engineer from INSA Lyon (Civil Engineering) and ENSPM (Drilling & Production), he also helds a Business Degree from IAE Paris Dauphine. 34 years of oilfield experience in production, well testing, wireline and snubbing with Schlumberger, where he was, Recruting and Training Manager, Base, District and Technical Manager in Algeria, West Africa, Middle East and Indonesia. In Diamond Bits and Drilling Tools he created and managed Diamant Boart France. In completion equipment he created and managed MOTI company specialized in completion equipment. He also implemented MOTI API 6A (Wellheads and Christmas trees) and 14A (subsurface safety valves) certifications and QA programs. He also drilled exploratory wells on a turnkey basis in Algeria covering all aspects of operations, cost control, civil works and safety. He also completed a EC TACIS program in Russia to audit former military plants to have them reconverted into making oilfield equipments. He also made a drilling expertise from the EC (THERMIE program) in Western Siberia. He has good connections in former Soviet Union, Algeria and Russia. Has a good smattering of Russian and German languages.


DRILLING TECHNOLOGY EXPERT

Born in 1936, graduated engineer from Ecole Bréguet (60) and ENSPM (67), he has 26 years of experience in field services, diamond bits and drilling tools engineering with positions of field engineer, product engineer and company manager. First working with SCHLUMBERGER and CHRISTENSEN, he created and managed the Diamond Bit Company CRYSTAL PROFOR. As a Consultant he also created (using his own patents) an Engineering Compny called EMF for developping steel body PDC bits. He acquired a broad knowledge in the process of rock-drilling and the related technologies. Since 1994 he has worked as an international expert for the European Commission in the frame of THERMIE Programmes, auditing projects and organising workshops in Belarus and China.


RESERVOIR ENGINEER

Born in 1931, graduated engineer from Arts et Métiers (55) and ENSPM (56), PhD in Computer Science and Master in Petroleum Engineering at Berkeley University (USA). He worked 18 years in reservoir engineering with TOTAL, ELF and Gaz de France. He is now a Consultant with large international experience in auditing projects concerning oil and gas production and underground storage.
