1. Minutes of WG1 meeting 15/3/17 in GEC Management Puteaux

Recap of the Tehran mission (JLG, 28th January to 1st February)
-Petroleum Conference Iran 2017: “Perspective of Partnership with Iranian Oil Industry”
-Meeting with 7 APEC companies and the local ACP consultants (under the Reza Azmoudeh leadership)
-MOU signature with APEC (Association of Petroleum Industry Engineering & Construction Companies)
Some key MOU extracts:
-APEC intends to develop a better understanding of and deeper relationships with ACP companies active in the oil & gas industrial upstream and downstream
-Training, research, promotion, investment, finance, technology transfer, Joint Ventures, engineering, design, supply and execution of new projects
-Create joint working teams, to evaluate , develop and carry out specific initiatives.
-Organizing training programs , training schools and courses for the upstream and downstream oil & gas industry in order to transfer the know –how to the associate members in the oil & gas sector
Action plan for partnerships
Technipipe : exchanges of mails initiated with IGWDC & Anhar, and still to be done with GAMMA. Planned mission (CB) in Iran Mid April then May the 8th/9th.
Safier : exchanges of mails and telephone with Istafer
Corialis : exchange of mail still to be initiated with Rampco (through UK or Italian affiliate)
Nota :
-GAMMA www.gamma-ir.com is looking for partnership with Technipipe, to help the move to maintenance
-Iran Gas & Water Development www.igwdc.com ready to work on Pipeline integrity management with Technipipe for the GEC Tehran gas district reinforcement project.
-ANHAR www.anharco.ir is looking for partnership (Technipipe)
-ISTAFER www.istafer.com : metallic structures, JV with Viadukt www.viadukt.hr. Interest for partnership with Safier
-RAMPCO www.rampco-ir.com : Strong in maintenance (downstream), looking for opportunities in maintenance upstream for NIOC, interested by potential partnership with Corialis.
Action plan for projects as per MOU priorities (Gas Flaring, CCS, EOR).
Exchange of mails initiated by JLG with GAMMA, exchange mails and teleconference done by JLG with Rahbord Energy Alborz. Exchange of mails still to be initiated by DL with PARSGTL.
Nota :
-GAMMA – Flared Gas on 13 South Pars gas refineries. A request for clarification is to be sent soon by Arcles regarding the origin of the gas flaring. GEC Management, Arcles, EOSYS, P+I could participate in the feasibility study of the gas flaring reduction. Afterwards they can assist the selected EPC and/or the Owner.
-Rahbord Energy Alborz ltd www.alborzenergy.com in CCS and EOR for NIOC. Looking for partnership with Arcles to help on the CO2 EOR project with NIOC. Arcles will prepare a program of a working session in Teheran to identify the steps of the appropriate action plan to secure the NIOC project. ACP members (GEC Management & EOSYS) have initiated EOR cooperation with Shiraz and Marseille/Aix universities.
-PARSGTL Narsi Ghorban ghorban@parsgtl.com Use of CO2 produced by the Narkangan GTL plant to Enhance Oil Recovery in the near-by NIOC Savestan oil field. Arcles needs clarification on the status of the GTL production plant and the potential use of CO2 for the oil field EOR (capture, transportation and injection).
Other topics: Explore the possibility for training/seminars together with APEC, such as: Structure calculation for Energy installations; Pipeline Integrity System; HSE
